The service was very fast and the food was good. The owner stopped and spoke to us about the history of the pub.

We really enjoyed our meal. We picked a great time at about 3:30 pm. It was quiet and peaceful. The ambiance here is really awesome! We got chili that was mild and not too spicy but very flavorful! Of course noodles are given unless you ask otherwise (Would it be Wisconsin if it were any other way?) We both had burgers. I had the build your own that came on a potato roll and my hubby got the Smokey burger. Each of them was cooked perfectly and juicy! So so good! The fries were great as well! They were flavorful and not greasy at all! All in all I would give this place a 5/5!

I was in Wisconsin on a work trip 4 years ago and me and some of my work colleagues needed a place to grab some lunch and this was close so we went. Now.... My favorite movie is The A-Team with Bradley Cooper and Murdock (the pilot) makes a dish with curry tompenade in it. At this point I'd never even SEEN tompenade in real life on a menu so when I saw the Muffaletta sandwich had olive tompenade on it I went for it! Best sandwich I've ever had I think. Lucky me when my job took me back to Wisconsin and I was only 50 minutes from De Pere - I had to make the drive to have this sandwich yet again! Like before it did not disappoint! Everything about this place is always top notch! The decor, it's clean, top notch service too! Stop in and try the Muffaletta!!

Food was tasty and everyone got a good portion. Got the reuben, and it was absolutely delicious. The saurkraut was pretty mild and could have used a little bit more of a punch, but that's just my personal taste. My grandma got the cuban and loved it. Grandpa got a smokey burger and I was surprised there was any left over from the way he was scarfing it down. Wait staff were pleasant. They were training a new staff member who was on top of everything (refills, boxes, she even noticed when we were having trouble reading the specials and came and reread them for us) aside from a tiny slip up of forgetting a pen with the check, which was practically a non-issue. Will definitely be back!

Have been here multiple times and each time it doesn’t disappoint. The decor around the bar is amazing. The food is good and generally don’t have to wait too long. Definitely recommend

My sister and I are in town visiting for the NFL Draft and this place is such a gem! We were lucky enough to meet Tommy (one of the owners) and he showed us so many cool photos of players that have been to the tavern. He also gave us great local recommendations. We both got a salad and they were delicious. All of the staff were so kind and the atmosphere is great. Definitely check this place out!

Nicky’s is truly the stuff of legend. A townies’ favorite for over a generation, it’s beloved by both college kids & us middle-aged folks alike. Friends have raved about the food, and it’s even been well known to attract a few Green Bay Packers players. The space is impressive, with beautiful woodwork that adds to its charm. They offer a solid beer selection, and their mixologists know their craft. If you ever find yourself in town, Nicky’s is definitely worth a visit. If you are lucky, you might even get a chance to see Nicky himself.
